Columbus, OH – September 2025
World Touring Exhibitions is proud to announce the successful conclusion of Unofficial Galaxies, which closed this September at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Ohio.
Running from May through September 2025, the exhibition attracted thousands of visitors and celebrated one of the largest private collections of Star Wars memorabilia ever assembled, featuring over 142 unique pieces including a life-size Landspeeder from Elstree Studios, rare costumes, props, model replicas, and vintage toys.
Beyond the display of iconic artifacts, the exhibition celebrated the creativity, artistry, and fan devotion that have made the saga a cultural phenomenon for nearly five decades. Guests were able to dive into the storytelling legacy while enjoying behind-the-scenes production exhibits that revealed the making of cinematic history.
World Touring Exhibitions extends its heartfelt thanks to COSI for the outstanding collaboration and support throughout the run of Unofficial Galaxies. Together, the partnership brought a one-of-a-kind cultural experience to Columbus, creating lasting memories for visitors and fans alike.
