Peterborough, UK – September 2026 – Travelling Bricks has completed a successful six-week run at Peterborough Cathedral. More than 23,000 tickets were sold.

The exhibition had a strong start, with over 5,000 visitors in its first six days. Families continued to visit throughout the summer.

Visitor feedback was also very positive. Children talked about their favourite models, including the Titanic and the space section. Many enjoyed building their own creations in the LEGO® brick pit.

The Peterborough presentation also included Giant Soft Bricks Playland. It gave younger children another space to build, play and explore. Together, the exhibition and Playland offered activities for a wide range of ages.

Parents and grandparents praised the number of models and the value of the experience. Some families spent more than an hour in the building area.

The event also showed that a family exhibition can work well outside a traditional museum or gallery. Peterborough Cathedral gave Travelling Bricks a unique setting. At the same time, the exhibition brought many families into the historic building.

World Touring Exhibitions would like to thank the Peterborough Cathedral team for their work and support throughout the project.

Travelling Bricks has toured internationally for ten years. This family touring exhibition combines impressive models with hands-on activities for visitors of different ages.

Travelling Bricks and Giant Soft Bricks Playland are available for hire by museums, cultural venues, heritage sites and visitor attractions worldwide. They can be presented together or separately.
