Theme

Pirates have two histories. One is a story of violence, survival and crime at sea. The other is filled with treasure maps, secret islands and fearless captains.

Pirates: Adventure, Treasure & Legend looks at both. Visitors meet real figures such as Anne Bonny and learn how pirates challenged ships, ports and international trade.
