We're thrilled to announce that Life Science Centre and World Touring Exhibitions are joining forces on The Force of the Story, a major new exhibition opening in February 2027.

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of one of cinema's most iconic franchises, the exhibition brings a rare, previously unseen private collection of Star Wars memorabilia, costumes and artefacts to the public — alongside live science shows, hands-on activities and planetarium experiences.

Linda Conlon, Chief Executive of Life: "The Force of the Story will help us inspire people of all ages to explore science and imagine the future — bringing imagination, discovery and creativity together for families, schools and lifelong fans alike."

Corrado Canonici, Director of World Touring Exhibitions: "The Force of the Story celebrates a cultural phenomenon that has inspired generations of scientists and explorers — and we're delighted to partner with Life, where imagination meets engagement."

This is bigger than nostalgia. It's about what happens when imagination meets discovery: how science fiction dreams up the future, how real science turns those dreams into reality — and how popular culture keeps fuelling the next generation of scientists, engineers and explorers.

Sci-fi. Science. Popular culture. Each one feeds the other. Each one redefines the other.
