Columbus, OH – The Force has officially arrived at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI), transforming the celebrated science museum into a must-visit destination for Star Wars fans of all ages.

Running from May to September 2025, the exhibition features one of the largest fan private collections of Star Wars memorabilia ever assembled. With over 142 items, including a life-size Landspeeder from Elstree Studios, costumes, props, model replicas, and vintage toys dating back to 1977, Unofficial Galaxies offers a breathtaking journey into a universe that has captivated imaginations for nearly five decades.

“This isn’t just a display—it’s an full-on experience for Star Wars fans,” said Corrado Canonici, director of World Touring Exhibitions. “We want visitors to feel like they’ve stepped into a galaxy far away.”

Unofficial Galaxies is an independent exhibition— not affiliated with Disney or Lucasfilm, as is a fan private collection celebrating the cultural legacy and fan devotion surrounding the saga. The goal? To bring together fans, families, and curious newcomers for a summer of storytelling and nostalgia exploration.

Visitors can also enjoy the behind-the-scenes production exhibits that reveal how some of the most iconic scenes in film history were brought to life.

From life-size Landspeeder, Anakin Skywalker's Desk, Darth Maul Statue to renowned and rare 66pcs Star Wars toy, Unofficial Galaxies offers something for everyone—and promises to be one of Ohio’s most exciting cultural events of 2025.
